Two and a half years ago, Velvet Rebellion began as a late-night conversation between sisters and friends.

Today, that conversation has become three albums, more than 1,000,000 streams on Spotify, over 1,200,000 streams worldwide, and more than 2,800,000 views on YouTube.

To every Rebel who has streamed a song, watched a video, shared a lyric, added us to a playlist, sent a message, or simply found a piece of yourself somewhere in the noise: thank you.

This milestone belongs to you as much as it belongs to us.

Velvet Rebellion was built on the idea that music could be both cinematic and human, both mythic and painfully real. Across Techne’s Triumph, Reign of Resonance, and Experience, the band has moved through digital empires, surveillance shadows, personal scars, chosen family, love, rage, grief, power, and the difficult work of becoming whole.

What started as a spark has become a movement.

Techne’s Triumph introduced Velvet Rebellion’s cyber-mythic foundation, exploring technology, control, digital spirituality, and identity in a world increasingly shaped by machines. Reign of Resonance expanded that vision into something darker and more apocalyptic, a record built around power, collapse, warning signals, and the question of what remains when humanity pushes itself to the edge. Then came Experience, the band’s most personal chapter so far: an album about survival, intimacy, betrayal, confidence, vulnerability, and the private rebellions that happen long before anyone sees the crown.

The numbers matter, of course. One million Spotify streams is not a small thing. Neither is 2.8 million YouTube views.
